WW: A la Campagne
Posted on Jul 30, 2008 under wordless wednesday |

Harvest season now here and this shot was taken in Troyes (inlaws’ place). I love it when we go à la campagne because the paysages are beautiful and there are always many interesting shots to take no matter how simple the things are.
Happy WW everyone!

Well, I love this picture. I grew up in an area where there are a lot of farms. and they do make interesting setting for pictures. Happy WW

I like the rich colours of this scene. Remarkable, really. The warm red tones in the distant fields, the golden yellow of the nearer field, the blue blue sky… They all come together to paint a vivid picture.
Thanks for visiting me earlier. Let me assure you: I did not touch that toad. Ew. I wanted very badly to pick the dog hair off of him to improve my shot, but I didn’t want to touch him. So I left it. If you click the image on my blog to the larger view, you can see the hair… and some dirt and debris.
Happy WW!

What a beautiful picture. It is always nice to be out on the farm. I live in the city. But only about ten minute drive to farm land.

Here in the States, the price of hay has been going up because it has been so rainy that people haven’t been able to cut the hay.

It must be wonderful to go to your inlaws at harvest time. I always enjoy that so much, too. We have an alfalfa field at our place, and I can enjoy it’s harvest from my porch several times in the summer -
